There is nothing to suggest from both his Milb and MLB numbers that he is a 20-something HR hitter, except for his 2015 numbers. His BA has been consistently in the .240s. And he consistently strikes out as if he hits 40 bombs a year.

This will be a fun thing to come back to after the end of 2016 to see if this was a good signing.

Yeah I dunno. It'd be for 1 year, and I see guys wanting him for 5 yrs. Would be a scummy move on my part for a guy Im on the fence about long term. Plus if he lands on the DL, I will laugh at someone's tears with their 5 yr contract. THIS is why we shouldn't penalize 1 yr contracts. I dunno. I gotta go get ready for Star Wars now.
