Ok, so I will let you in on one of my secret strategies which I have used to win other leagues in the past.
Whatever the innings limit is, Yahoo does not count any pitching stats after the day you go over the limit. HOWEVER.... on the day you go over the limit, Yahoo counts ALL of your stats for that day.
I'm not saying I did this to win one of my other leagues, but I'm not saying I didn't... for example (and this takes quite a bit of planning but these are the places I used to go to to win):
The innings limit is 1450. You are approaching the limit. What you want to do is plan your pitching so that you get as close to the limit as possible without going over. If you can somehow get to 1449, that is ideal. Then bench all your pitchers until you find a day when your best pitcher(s) are starting. Figure out all the pitchers starting that day and pick them up. Put them all into your lineup. You can get 7-8 pitchers starting and go like 50 innings over the limit. You get all the stats for that day so it's like getting extra bonus counting stats (assuming you need them.)
