Minor league years currently at 84 years showing on spreadsheet..BUT you can subtract Gallagher, Towles and G.Reynolds(8 yrs). That still gives you 76 years with Vitters. Max is 75 yrs.

Crap! For some reason I thought minor league years were set at 90. That's what I have the spreadsheet programmed for! If it's 75, then that's my bad. I'll have to fix the spreadsheet.

To get under the limit, I'll make the following moves:

Current years: 79 (I'm actually at 79 because the 84 included Vitters)

1. Cut G.Reynolds (79-3=76)
2. Promote Chase Headley (76-4=72) 5 yrs @ $600,000
3. Promote JR Towles (72-3=69) 5 yrs @ $600,000
4. Cut Richie Sexson (3 yrs @ $350,000)
5. Trade CJ Wilson

That's gets me to 69 years and opens up the 2 roster spots for Headley and Towles.
