1 Year FA Bids

I know we went back n forth earlier about proposed methods of stopping or at least minimizing 1 yr bids. What about just a simple rule...If u bid only 1 year on a FA, u can not TRADE him during that year??? This will prevent teams from swooping in with a ton of cash to get a player they really can't use n only want him as a trade chip. Expiring contracts would NOT be restricted, only new FA Bids. Any thoughts?

I thought we discussed this. I kind of like this idea. Want to traded him, bid 2 years.

Although bidding 1 year players in season free agents are tradable.

Also, we can limit the amount of cash that's allowed to be traded from 1 team to another for 1 season.

If u adopt the no trade 1-yr FA Auction rule, I don't see a need to restrict cash traded...less rules, easier to administer!
