DL & Minors ???

Since this will be my 1st season playing, I still have a question or 2.

1) If a player on my 25 man roster starts the season on the DL, can I move him to DL (we have 5 spots in Yahoo) and add (provided I win the FA Bid) new player to my roster?

2) Kenta Maeda is on my MiLB roster, can I switch him back n forth to Majors roster or once he is activated he MUST stay on my Majors roster??? Also, how does it work with Yahoo (that's how we r scored), do u just add/drop players as needed or is there a waiting period of some kind?

1 - yes as soon as yahoo has them on dl you can put them on dl if you have dl spots available then it opens a spot you could bid/call up to on roster

2 - if you call up maeda you need to decide how many yrs to sign him at 600k then this first yr you can move him up and down as many times as you please to minors. You make moves by posting on msg board then admin moves guys on yhoo, we try to accommodate moves daily but yhoo won't let you change in am and play the guy that night so there is a 1 day delay generally

So is it possible (not saying I would) to bring up Maeda every 5th day just for his starts?

In theory but you wouldnt be able to replace him necessarily cuz fa auctions only fall on 2 days a week, also no guarantees your moves get processed so would want to make the move a day early prob thus the other side of the platoon would only be used a couple days (also would be annoying to Ppl processing moves, but not illegal)

If that was 2 b done, probably would need to swap with player on WW, otherwise u'd have to cut players constantly.

Also, u might want to start charging $1 per transaction...lol!

Nobody has ever abused the rule that you can move players freely. If someone started abusing it, I think we'd come up with a rule pretty quickly.
