I' ve given these 2 things lots of thought. I entered free agency knowing I would have Kyle Schwarber as a Catcher. A backup would be ok, but not necessary. I believe he will play almost every day.
I also entered free agency knowing if I couldn't sign a SS who would make an impact, I had Corey Seager. But, do I sign him this year, try to make a run, or wait til the end of the season and keep that extra year of eligibility.
Would Seager make my team that much better? Would you sign him now, or wait?
I'm curious if I will get honest opinions. I think my pitching is top 2-5 in the league. Took some fliers on other players, need a couple of them to hit. I'm conflicted...

Tough call. If you think you can win it with him, you sign him and go for it now. There are no guarantees of what may happen in the future. Your pitchers may get injured and need TJ surgery next year. Seager may have a great rookie year, but steadily drop off afterwards. Personally, I sign him. He would be help my team.
IMHO-with apologies to the East, that division is not as strong as previous years. you have a chance to win it you sign him. you COULD wait some time b4 to see how things are shaking out. if you wait until close to ASB then you might as well wait till next year.
I feel like I'm missing 1 really big bat. I should have been more aggressive during FA bidding. At this point, I might as well wait to see how spring training shakes out. I think signing him a few weeks into the season wouldn't be wasteful. Unless he has a monster April.
