The 2016 MiLB Draft will commence on Saturday, January 23 - 6:00 AM CST.
We are all accustomed to the 12-hour rule used in the auction. Now, each team will have 12 hours to choose and there will be no 6am - midnight break. It will run a full 24 hours....just like last year.
If you miss your time you can always come back and select. If you know you will miss your time you can always PM the Admin account with a list of players to choose from or mention 'next best'.
"Next best" requests will acquire the next player from the BA list that was posted.
"Next best" years to be applied as follows:
AAA player will be assigned 2 years
AA player will be assigned 3 years
A-R-SS players will be assigned 5 years.
Players drafted will be placed in your minor league system. When you draft a player list his name and # of years you want to control him. Only players that I can find off the BA database or who have been actually signed by a major league club are eligible. Any player signed by a major league club after Jan 21st will be considered ineligible for the draft. (Dont draft yourself.) Remember you only have 75 total years for all players in your minor league system.
Remember, you can drop up to 4 minor leaguers to free-up years between Jan 16th -> 21st. Just list them or pm admin.
