Blind Bids???

Since I have basically never done this before, can someone explain the entire process on how to make "silent" bids for FA's???

When I 1st joined at the end of last season, I placed a "bid" on Bryant as I didn't see him on anyone's Yahoo team, that was before I learned most everything goes through the DCJ website and Team spreadsheets. That was my only "experience" before the year ended.

If you look under members there is one called **fa bids** or soemthing close to that. To bLind bid you send a private message to the fa bids account w amount yrs any contingent roster moves etc. For example say I wanted to try to corner the sd saves market. I could try to do that by sending a msg to fa bids saying...

Min bids
1 mil for 5 yrs on Quackenbush
1 mil for 5 yrs on Maurer
1 mil for 5 yrs on pomeranz, if I win all three cut Cody allen to make room.

--but I only have 2 spots open so I need to include a cut contingent on winning all 3, if I only win two then he isn't cut

Step 2. On Wednesday and sunday at the appointed time (6pm? Don't remember) admin logs in and opens bid messages awarding players to winners.

Step 3. Profit!

So it's done through Messages? I just create a new PM to "FA Bids" (or something similar) with the details u just provided?

R bids awarded like FA Bids, where doesn't matter # of yrs, just salary?
