So there is a guy who is out there that hasn't gotten the requisite 50 IPs to be an MLB player. Yet he is unsigned by any org out there in Cashman.
I have to wait for him to get the requisite 50 IPs before signing blind bid, correct? Otherwise, I would make a play for him at the upcoming 2016 Milb?

Correct. If I pitched 49 shutout innings for the Twins I would still be eligible for the upcoming MiLB draft. Frequent example is RP chosen in this draft if they pitched well but didn't make it to 50 in their first yr.

He's all yours, Minny. I would rather take my chances with Yadier Alvarez, also a Dodger. Dodgers really have a premier lineup of pitching prospects. Incredible.

Was reading how the Dodgers structured Kenta's contract. Very creative!! Might become a model for future MLB contracts and pitchers. Gotta believe the players union nor some players will be thrilled though if this is true. They like their guaranteed contracts.
