What is the rule again for minor league guys who run out of yrs. Wasnt there a thing where we could sign them to a major league deal to keep them but couldnt cut them or something?

That is the rule. I signed Heath Hembree after his minor league years ran out. I have to keep him on my roster until he reaches his 50 innings. I cannot cut him or place him on waivers.
