Calvin has been an owner and sometimes commissioner of a VERY competitive 20 team dynasty league that has been around since 2002. He is very knowledgeable about the minor leagues as well, as the dynasty league has a huge minor league system. I have been very reluctant in the past to invite anyone from that league to cashman because I don't like to mix leagues. I like to have completely different people in all of my leagues (otherwise, what's the point of having different leagues?) but desperate times call for desperate measures, so i'm making a 1 time exception!

i do not think we could hope for a better owner than Cal. he's very knowledgeable about the majors and minors. he has extensive experience in deep leagues that have year round trading. and he is very very active. if we all help him along with the steep learning curve of our unique rules, we will have finally solved the rangers problem.

and the second he bids me up on a free agent, i'm giving him the boot.
