You could also just start it on the next player posted. I can't see it causing to many issues as the dollars are not that different it's just a time issue.
this was just a proposal for discussion. I dont think we'd do it this year. Like to hear any disagreements with this and any way to 'game the system' b4 we would implement it.

I vote no. The auction just started. We are not running short on time. There is no need speed things up. We are not required to bid $100k at a time. If you want to vote more, you are free to do so. Look how fast the bidding went up on Holland. His bidding went up millions at a time. Once it got close to a persons max bid, things slowed down. We have 4 months (or close to it) before spring training starts. The longer this lasts, the less down time we have before the season starts.
'12-'13 FA joey votto went to 4 pages but it was chock-full of non-bid chatter. it would be tough to determine when a page with chatter actually starts to increase the bid amount.
