Before we get too far to implement it, I believe we had a decent consensus on a trading deadline to be put in place 2 weeks from the last day of the season. Looking at the calendar, I propose we make the trade deadline Sunday, September 15, 11:59PM EST. any trades posted on or before this time will be honored. Any trades after this time will be null. Trades will open up again at the conclusion of the season.

Ok. No objections...then I hereby decree by the power vested in me by myself, that the trade deadline for 2013 shall be September 15. You have until 23:59:59 on Sept 14 to post AND agree to the trade in the trade forum. No trades will be allowed from Sept 15 until the last regular season game is played. Trades will open back up the day after the last day of the regular season. If there are any 'playoff' games to resolve ties that are counted as 'regular seaosn games, then the trade deadline will extend to beyond those games.
If you don't like it, feel free to send Chicago lots of emails to complain.
