nah. they've got quite a backlog. i think they are letting too many of the old-time guys in now. but when someone like chris carter has to wait several years to get in, it's not too many.

also alot of it is kind of legendary status esp. with lineman. It's a hard thing to measure. Also certain players stats might look bad now, but the may have revolutionized the position or something

lots more players come through the nfl than mlb. the HOF should be larger. you can of course, make a great argument that it is too large. but you cannot make an argument that dwight stephenson, jackie slater, deion sanders, ozzie newsome, warren moon, bruce matthews, darrel green, paul hornung, and art donovan dont belong no matter how small you think it should be.
in fact, you might want to hide that list. if artie donovan finds out you questioned his membership, he'll kick your ass.
