Trying to research what we have done in the past with regard to the timing for letting people put players on waivers. my memory was that we would start allowing it once all the rosters were up todate in yahoo. others say it was opening day of the season. in my research i only found 2 mentions of the rule:
so, it seems that perhaps traditionally, we have done WW on opening day. i goofed and said we would do them when rosters are added in yahoo. obviously, the season has not yet started, nor have the rosters been entered into yahoo (yankees still hasnt signed up...more on that soon i hope) nowhere did i or anyone else say that ww would be available at first lind bid. i dont think that has ever been the case. so imho, todays bids will need to be figured out without the WW moves. any suggestions? sorry for the miscommunication between me and chicago. just an innocent mistake. give us a day to address it.
totally my misunderstanding. i then only get 2 pitchers with murphy going to minn as he was the other team to bid on him. as for SD encarnacion will have to wait until next bid period> Ok with that? milw, please chill out it was an accident.
i've updated my transaction file and am about to update the s'sheet with todays winning bids. minn gets murhpy, chi cuts martin to compensate, sd waits until sunday to bid again on encarncacion if he wants. all is cool. just a misunderstanding that is now corrected.
