Just a couple of points as we head into the home stretch of the off-season schedule. I have received complaints throughout the winter from multiple sources that they've had PM's go unanswered for long periods of time. I'm not directing this at any particular owner at this time....just making a general observation that I know how aggravating that can be, especially when I have other negotiations going on and can't pull the trigger until I get an answer from someone else. Please be considerate of your fellow owners. Check-in and respond to PMs even if it is a simple 'no thanks at this time.' If it is too hard to check in, provide your email address.
Now, I'm pretty lenient about such things because I realize we all have more important things to do than fantasy baseball! And I understand that some owners aren't as involved in the off-season. But please be considerate of your fellow owners and respond in a timely manner to PMs. It's to your benefit as well as the benefit of the league.
As we roll into the regular season, I would ask you to check in at least once a day at the message board. Nobody will notice or care if you miss a day here or there. But if it looks like you are only checking in 2-3 times a week, I think that hurts the league. I realize that is more of a commitment than your average fantasy league. But I think we are all here because we enjoy that level of participation. If you do not wish to participate at that level, please feel free to let me know and we can find a replacement. No hard feelings! Nobody is telling you how to run your team....we just want you to run it.
