Just a reminder because at least 1 owner was confused....if a guy isn't signed and added to the "eligible international players list" before the draft starts, nobody can draft him. I'm looking at you, Yu.
I don't care if someone signs Saturday morning 1 minute after the draft starts and the first pick hasn't been called out yet. In order to make it fair, consistent, and to avoid confusion, the list of players will be finalized at NOON on Friday Jan 13. This is the same time you need to announce your cuts. So this gives those with early picks at least a few hours to know the pool of players they are working with so they can try to make deals.
Last year we started the draft a week or 2 earlier...so nobody can complain that I didn't give a fair shot for these guys to sign.
