...the new Cashman champion, Toronto Blue Jays!

This year's World Series went into extra innings as the Blue Jays and Twins tied in categories, 6-6. For the new members (and those that don't remember), at the beginning of the season we used a random number generator to determine the tiebreaker categories. This year it spit out the following:

1 - Wins
2 - Runs
3 - RBI
4 - Ks
5 - Holds
6 - WHIP
7 - Ave
8 - Home Runs
9 - SB
10 - Saves
11 - OBP
12 - ERA

Since the Blue Jays had more wins than the Twins, the Blue Jays have been declared league champ!

Congrats also to the Twins for another great season. This is the 3rd straight year that you have lost in the championship game. Keep pushing that rock, Sisyphus! You'll break through eventually!

Thanks. It was a long but fun season. Congrats to Minnesota, too. You had a great season. Now that the champagne corks have been popped and sprayed around the condo, it is time to look towards next year. Can I be the first repeat champion?

I planned on rebuilding this year, but couldn't get what I thought Miguel Cabrera was worth. Then a hot start and acquisition of some 1 yr deal and WHAMMY! If Lester, Beckett, and the Red Sox hadn't had their stunning collapse who knows... Maybe next year. Congrats Toronto!

Congratulations to the Blue Jays for being the 2011 Champs.

Also, congratulations to the Twins, just getting to the World Series for 3 straght years is an accomplishment.
