As the founding of our league gets further and further into the past, it becomes clearer which rules work and which rules could be tweaked.
Rather than change the rules piece meal as we have been doing, I propose that we annually set aside the week of the all star game to debate and decide on all of our rule changes for the next season.
I will create a topic in the League Rules section of the message board where you can post your suggestions for rule changes. This is not the place for a discussion...more like a brainstorming whiteboard we will use to table these ideas until all star week.
Obviously, if something major comes up that needs immediate attention, it will be addressed immediately. But stuff like "how many minor guys can we cut" or "I think we should have more draft rounds" should be posted here. We will debate these suggestions during all star week, and the ones that seem like a good idea will be implemented. I'm not suggesting that we will change a whole bunch of rules every year. I just think it's getting a little out of hand trying to keep track of who agreed to what and when. This should help.
If you wish to remain anonymous, feel free to PM me your rule suggestions and I will put it on the whiteboard.
