I've noticed that there are some bids on players that have been edited. Is this really allowed? I thought that bids could not be retracted or edited once they were submitted. Or am I totally wrong on this?
looked at current 3 auctions. Pitt edited for roberts 3 minutes after placing original. philly edited 9 minutes after placing original. i'm sure they just hit a wrong key as kc did with his # of years of e. but it does give the illusion of ..... so, if you make a mistake just make another post to correct it.(you can delete your own posts, i cant lock it, but it does appear on the SECURITY LOG) there's really no way to stop it, but if i see an edited bid or notice that a bid was deleted i will delete that managers bid and the previous bid will be the current bid...and you will be licked all over by milw as punishment. any other ideas are welcomed. admin and master of the draft
edit doesnt seem to be any way of not allowing the deleting of ones own posts anywhere on the admin pages.

if you see it bring it up so Commish can check. I haven't been watching closely because I don't care about the players right now, but they shouldn't be modifying bid posts.

i think if someone edits a bid within 10 minutes of having placed it, there probably isnt any foul play involved. still, i agree it is a better idea to just place a new correcting bid for transparency sake. i dont remember exactly what it was i changed on the roberts bid, but it was some kind of typo. the substance/intent of the bid wasnt changed.
