This year, Yahoo changed their head to head tiebreakers. In the past, ERA was the first tiebreaker and we sort of just adopted that. The formula Yahoo uses now doesn't work for our format (it involves regular season head to head scores which we don't have.)
I propose we change the ERA tiebreaker to one of the following (or use all 3 in sequence):
1. Total points in the regular season 2. Highest 'low' score in all categories (reward the team that was most consistent across all categories.) 3. Randomly select a new category at the beginning of each season.

I'd prefer rotating a category. I don't like using the highest low score because in a category like saves, there are a limited number of closers and outside factors like salary cap and injuries may prevent an owner from getting saves. They may not punt the category but may do terrible due to injury or availability. Last season, I took over a team that had Billy Wagner and Chad Cordero. I was at a disadvantage from the start last year. It would possibly punish an owner for bad luck.
no punting categories soooooo early. if we decide to do it, the cat will be chosen at random, right before the season starts so nobody can craft a team now.
