The Orioles and White Sox have come to terms that will send starting pitcher Derek Lowe to the Orioles for the remainder of the season. In return, the White Sox will receive $100,000 in salary relief for the 2010 season. Baltimore, in the middle of a white-hot race for the championship suffered a devastating blow with their ace, Johan Santana being placed on the DL for the remainder of the season.

I just mean if the leader gets stronger then it's harder to catch him. I was joking
