try to determine that your trading partner actually wants to make the deal.
so you dont do a preliminary deal (with texas) only to go back and find out the other deal falls thru because NOW he's not sure he wants to trade!!!

we've had several conversations about this since the day I acquired the draft pick. Not then, not now did you ever indicate any reservations or had any hestitations about trading M. Until the very last second AFTER i made the Texas trade. BTW I told you I needed to do before our trade. You let me trade with Tex and then dropped the bombshell. i will honor the trade with Texas. you can eat your soiled diapers.
