the spreadsheet has a search tab, but you need to be careful because sometimes they are spelled out sometimes abbreviated like it could be G. Floyd or Gavin Floyd, you have to search exactly
or just wait until rosters are in yahoo, shouldn't be too long
we currently are missing 2 teams on yahoo...new york and toronto. there are still several teams short of 25-man rosters. yahoo wont initiate the league unless all teams have 25. as soon as all teams have 25players on it i will transfer them to yahoo. i keep a backup of everyones roster in notepad. copy/paste players names and there you go.
as soon as ny and tor register i will input the team rosters. those short of 25 will be given players just to start. once the league is 'online' i will delete those players.

au contraire. search thing works perfectly. it's the people who cant spell or who didnt put the full player's name in that is screwing up the search!
coincidentally, i took a few minutes this week fixing all the players' names. i got to almost all of the teams. so the search should be much more useful (as long as you spell the name correctly...capitalization counts)
also, in one of my other leagues, the commish always just adds 1 player to each team, then we add the rest of our team ourself. saves the commish a bunch of time im sure. i dont know how he does it.
