Hopefully he pops back in soon. To be fair to CHI I wouldn't pop in as often either if I only had $4MM during FA....too depressing to see all the guys I would be missing out on!

Oh absolutely I would prefer he pop in a little more often at the very least to check messages, at minimum once a week. He may have just decided to hold onto his current roster, wait until closer to spring training and try to fill it out with a few guys from the bargain bin.
He is in a weird situation, especially for a new owner though. He has some really good players on that roster, ones that could realistically lead that team to a top 5 finish again. On the other hand he could sell these guys off like Bergman,Judge, etc and probably land a haul. If you're going to get a haul right now though even for a Judge you probably have to eat part of that contract for this year, which doesn't really accomplish the goal of getting to be more active in FA. I know he was shopping those guys at one point, probably didn't get near the offers he thought he would. Also tried for Bellinger, Stanton, etc.
If someone has his contact info it's for sure worth reaching out. As long as he responds or pops in within the next couple days I wouldn't sweat it much though. Ever since he joined he seems to have been pretty active.
Yeah, he's fine I work with him and just spoke with him yesterday. He has no money to spend and can't really have fun with his league because he got screwed by the previous owner who ruined his teams finances and then bailed.
He likes his current roster and finished high where he thinks he can compete next year....even if he bargain shops he wont have much money for in-season FA either.....

Yeah my previous owner gave away all this future cash in a failed attempt to win a title and has really screwed me for a couple yrs...oh wait that was me!

Figured that was a strong possibility. He was too active to just go dark. Still, it's probably a good idea for him to at least log in once a week or so. As money starts to dwindle those contracts he had on his trade block start to become a lot more appealing and his inbox probably starts to light up. Plus as other owners start to get board we may see proposals about rule changes, and eventually discussion about starting up the milb draft the next month or so.
