WW Players - defined as any player placed onto a teams WW list of 3 reserved spots.
Minor League Players - defined as any player in a Cashmans team's minor league system that is signed to a Cashman MLB contract in season that can be moved to active roster for that specific Cashman season.
WW Players and Minor League players can be brought from their designation to your Cashmans active roster of 26 players. Said player, regardless of position, must stay on your active roster for (5) consecutive days before said player can be deactivated back to their original designation.
Said player does NOT have to be in your active daily lineup.
Said player can only be deactivated back to their original designation prior to the (5) consecutive days due to the follow circumstances:
- Said player gets demoted to the minor leagues - Said player gets injured or goes on the IL or Covid lists - Said player gets put on the MLB inactive list for Bereavement or Paternity, or any other reason not stated here (am I missing something specific?)
You cannot activate someone from one of these designations and have them demoted back to their original designation before the (5) consecutive days for any other reason (trades, acquisition of player from FA bidding).
Said rule shall be added to our league charter for implementation starting immediately. The purpose of this rule is to discourage and prevent "streaming", and clearly defines use to all Cashman managers.
