Effective immediately, the Hembree rule is hereby repealed.
1. You can sign any of your minor league players to your major league contract any time you like.
* There will be no signing of minor league players and cutting of contracts in the same season to clear years from your minor leagues, or any attempt to "drop" the player mid-season, or after a MiLB draft. The commissioner/counsel retains the right to reverse any transaction it feels was done in an effort to bypass our current rules/structure, and consideration for all other owners. *
2. When you sign a minor league player, their years will NOT zero out until the player reaches the major league threshold of 150/50 OR at the end of the season which they were signed.
3. Once a player has 150AB/50IP in MLB baseball, that player is no longer considered eligible for our minor leagues. At the end of the season the player reaches this threshold, he must be signed or released (or traded for someone else to sign).
4. If a minor league player is signed to a major league contract and then cut, that player is eligible to be drafted in the MiLB draft by another team.
5. Minor league player cuts will be allowed 1 time per year of a period of time designated by league administrators. You will only be allowed to cut up to 4 players during this time.
No funny business. We all play this game with respect for the rules, and with NO intent to "screw over a fellow owner". Management reserves the right to make judgement calls if necessary, and will determine the proper solution if ill-intent is intended.
Admin, please erase the Hembree designation from all players on the sheets. You are now free to move about the cabin.
