Innings pitched limit

With 162 games @ 9 innings each, why is our pitch limit at 1250?, shouldn't it be 1450, the same as 162 games x 9 innings.

I thought the same thing, we are averaging 7+ innings a game, instead of 9?

with that said it does seem kind of bad to change the rules right now

if we change maybe for next season since it could alter the race for the championship

its basic, standard roto. we can increase it next year. depending upon each teams amount of starters, thats a big increase. lets limit it to +100 ip next year...to 1350. then everyone should have enough pitching to cover the extra 100 innings. then in 2 years i'll increase it to top limit. plan your roster around that number.
