I have no problem with this proposed rule. But then again, Im usually around a PC all the time.
I would be hesitant though with the league instituting a penalty around this rule. Life happens and fantasy baseball might drop down our list of importance for a period of time.
I know many of you are very good at stating when you are going to be out of town, things like that.
Perhaps a charter update to reflect something like "Activity on the Cashman Proboards website should be signing onto the website at a minimum of once per week. If you are unable to meet this minimum requirement for any given time, please give the league a heads up in the chat"section"
Also, as site admin, I have the ability to institute a return receipt on private messages. I asked the league awhile ago if we wanted it and it got voted down. We can certainly revisit this. I know I like the idea of return receipts, as it lets me know someone read my PM, and therefore I don't need to harass them, I can simply move on if I don't hear from them.
so now we have current boston not logging in tho playing the game. how much participation does this league require? is it too much of a hassle to login once a week to let the league know ur still interested? once an f'n week to respond to any pms that other managers have sent.
So Someone doesn't respond to a trade offer and they should be penalized? Way overboard in my opinion. If someone makes an offer and gets no response, isn't that a response? It'd be nice to get a "no thanks" but why should it be required? Someone didn't type N O and hit send so fine them? He's either seen it and didn't like it or hasn't been able to get on this week for some reason. Mostly likely because today is his first night of work and he looks at it there more than at home. As long as his roster is active, he's participating in the league. It's not like he hasn't been on in weeks. He posted messages a few days ago. If you don't want to wait a few days to get a response from someone, rescind the offer and move on.

my post did come on as anger over a non-response over a trade proposal. did sound that way. wasnt supposed to be. ive been on the once a week login for a long time. you have to be engaged in this league, not only for your fun but for the others also.
