What is feasability and cons for swapping dates on 2019 FAAB and MiLB drafts?
I was sitting here thinking wouldnt it be better to have MiLB draft after conclusion of 2018 play, and then go into actual 2019 FAAB in January/February timeline. The closer the FAAB draft to actual 2019 Yahoo player, the more informed choices people could make. Perhaps closer roles would be possibly more defined, where players will be positioned, whether minor league callup is more probable, etc.
Just throwin this out there. What do the Godfathers think?
i dont feel there is any compelling reason to change dates. right now the faab's have completed in mid-jan? iirc. why start it later and run the risk of not finishing b4 the season starts.

What if MiLB and FAAB drafts were running in parallel? It's alot of work I would suppose for you Minn as well as moderators. But if feasible, we could benefit from the Baseball America, MLB.com, etc etc MiLB prospect lists and make the more informed FAAB choices.
Also could have the benefit of a little respite for you guys after conclusion of 2018 Yahoo play, get a few months off of continuous sheet work.
we try and follow the faab with the milb draft in order to keep doing something during the winter. we have done a milb draft at the end of an faab cause it was running a bit long.
