there is a penalty for signing a minor who's contract expired and not a major leaguer...and its not 1 yr. its more substantial penalty. you have to sign him for 5 years and then hope for the best, or cut him.

shipley was drafted by balt in the entry draft in '13 and has also 2 yrs remaining on minor league contract

somehow the ssheets are incorrect prob due to trades and transcribing everything

please re-do your final roster with this in mind
