Because after the top 3, there is a steep drop off. You all are overlooking my depth, and potential 3 top 10 pitchers as well in Price, Harvey and Darvish. If some of my young guys mature, my staff is gonna be great for the next few years.
Vincent Velásquez has been a big surprise. I liked him, but didn't see him starting off quite like this. Helps offset Wainwright and Severino's early struggles.

I guess I get lucky a lot. I play in 5 leagues every year. 3 are ultra-competitive (I include this one in that). The other 2 are competitive too, but are your typical free redraft leagues, albeit with knowledgeable owners. One year recently I finished 1st (regular season) in 4 leagues including the 3 ultra-competitive ones and finished in 2nd place in the other league. That was the high water mark... I haven't been as motivated in any of the league since. Except maybe for the Phillies' cash league because, you know... $$$$!
I only do 1 $ league, and a total of 3 leagues. I am involved in a H2H league, Toronto got me in, it is very active, lists of trades go on.
This league is the most interactive one that I am in, Philly helped get me in here. I like try h see way it is run, keeps you active all year long with 2 drafts, try he auction in winter, salary caps, etc.
I am glad that so many people here help run this league and keep it running. Having 1 or 2 people run this league takes a lot, and can overwhelm. If there is anything I can do to help out, let me know. I have more free time now.
