I just had to double check that Chris Davis did actually hit .196 last year.
Just a reminder that I did post that Chris Carter is available. -younger than Davis -more versatile than Davis (1b and OF eligible) -is the same kind of profile player as Davis except you know, had a much better year than Davis last year (37 home runs!) -is only making $325k this year and next!
If he isn't your thing, Pedro Alvarez is another Davis clone, except with 3B eligibility. I just don't have the space for 4 1b in my lineup.

I believe so. This is from Yahoo:
A player will gain eligibility at a new position after five starts at that position, or 10 total appearances at that position. Pitchers need to make three starts to become eligible as a starter, or five relief appearances to qualify as a reliever.
As far as I can tell, all of his games in the outfield were starts.
yes, this is the Chris Davis who hit .196 last year. It also is the Chris Davis who played 20 games at 3B last year making him 3rd base eligible this year. And the big reason for such a high bid, this is the Chris Davis who will be back on adderall for the 2015 season.
I know it doesn't show up in the box score but sometime you gotta think outside the box. See what I did there with box?
