I posted this in another thread, but don't want it to get overlooked.
Should we put together a list of emails and phone numbers of every manager? Just in case the need arises we have a situation where we don't have contact with a manager for a period of time?
I agree that it is every managers responsibility to be proactive with their team, but let's face it....life happens. Perhaps someone gets very ill, or god forbid dies...
2-3 weeks ago I was very sick and it took me out of commission for over a week....
as admin of this message board i have all your email addresses. (HAHAHAHAHA)(evil laugh) at one time it showed everyones email addr. the yahoo site can show it if you dont want it blocked. in any case i would pass it along to pitts if needed.
as for phone number sharing, i do believe i will keep mine private.

i think i have everyone's email. the problem arises if someone gets sick or has a family emergency or unplanned travel and they are out of touch with their email. in that case, their phone number probably wouldnt be any good anyway.
i think if we give everyone a fair amount of time...a couple of weeks without contact..and if they dont reply, then it's fair to turn their team over. if it turns out you had a health emergency or had to travel to asia or something, well just let us know when you get back and we'll work something out. i dont think id make anyone lose their team over a family emergency.
