These are the type of things I was wondering about...
First off. I don't know how much I personally like it, but it's realistic and done in many other leagues. Waivers. when you place someone on waivers they should have they right to be claimed by any other owner. For a period of say 5-10 days.
Second one. This might have a conflict with the drafts, but I don't really see any problems. The ability to drop minor league guys whenever. I just don't see why not...
and also... When you are unable to play 9 healthy players, the commish shouldn't be able to sign someone for them. EXCEPT, when that person is trying to tank.
You sure seem to have an agenda towards myself in here, which would be fine if you were to PM with your beefs towards me but to repeatedly make ridiculous comments, ( ala boobs to count, etc) that shows some poor so -called leadership as a Commish. Just some food for thought!! As I have stated before I love these Dynasty leagues, but the league is only strong as all the members not just the commish who at times may have a GOD complex
SD
Anytime you need me to lead on in any discussion regarding league wide problems, just feel free to ask , as you have in this thread
SD, please remember that without a commissioner, there is no league. He organized it, he runs it, and he tries to keep idiots from ruining it. It is his league, and we are allowed to participate in it. You have made far too many rude and offensive comments to complain when one is directed at you. Personally, I think the commish has shown tremendous restraint in allowing you to continue in this league. Have a nice day.
I think of this league as OUR league, not MY league. We currently have the best bunch of guys/managers that I've ever been associated with. There are no quitters this year..I hope. I havent done it alone. Mr. Spreadsheet, Pitts, deserves a HUGE amount of credit. The guys taking care of the standings. All of you checking the accuracy of the transactions. I cant do this by myself. FYI. I was a bit angry with SD about the almost trade. But we did re-open negotiations tho we couldnt agree on a deal. I'm cool with it. SD, I will admit to getting annoyed at some 'whining' but if you leave it will be by your doing....unless you really piss-me-off. ;D As for the rules. They may not be the best by some accounts, RIGHT NOW. We can change them. I have no problem with that.

I don't know how the ins and outs would work, but I am intrigued by some ability to snag waived people. Lets put it on the agenda for discussion this offseason.

Oh and as far as the cutting minor league guys I would vote against being able to do it. Managing your years is another aspect of the game IMO. That said I don't think it would be a huge deal either
I also tend to agree on the waiver claims to an extent. I think that we should have a holding are for say 1-2 (as we do), but anyway else should be free game. It could take some more skill and luck.
The minor league cuts in my opinion should be allowed to be dropped twice per year.
This is a no money league and should be fun.Thats why I got into it.My money leagues seem to be much more competitive and challenging. This league seems to be run very well The commish and every one else does a great job.The rules are pretty simple to follow. San Diego I can agree with you on one count "the league is only strong as all the members" and just like everything else its only as strong as its weakest link.In my opinion thats you! Learn how to play the game and manage your team like every one else...Commish has no Agenda against you he just expects everyone to know how to play the game and a Game it is...
I wouldn't think I'm the weakest link.... but I guess you are right that I have no clue how to play Fantasy Baseball... As for the commish, he definitely has it out for me, or at least did...
How about this? If a player put on waivers then other teams should have the opportunity to pick up that player starting with the team with the worse record. If a team picks up a player, he assumes the full remaining contract of that player (and maybe a penalty of $10% to make things interesting).
