Atm he’s the best player in Fantasy but I agree, $40M for 1 player is insane.

Acuna may end up as the exception because he’s so young but I can’t remember a single time in my short Cashman career when even the 5yr/$30m deals worked out. It’s just left an owner 1-2 years later shopping these guys at a loss and having to eat money. A $5/40 deal just feels like two years of an expensive player followed by the commish needing to find a replacement owner when this guy hits $40+
