2023 MiLB Draft

The 2023 MiLB draft will commence on Saturday, February 18th. Looking for a moderator. Any volunteers?

Please note that we are moving the maximum number of minor league years to 85 starting now.

Please also note that we are going to add a 6th round to the MiLB draft this year. Every team should be given a 6th rd draft pick for the 2023 MiLB draft. We will evaluate the results of this change post draft.

Commish: You said we are evaluating the 6th Round draft pick after 2023. Am I to take it this is a trial?

I was going to add the 6th rounds onto sheets so teams can start trading the picks if they want. But was wondering do I add to only 2023? Or do I future proof the sheets now?

Just add the 2023 6th rd picks for now. I do not want managers trading these resources yet. If we decide that the 6th round was too much, we can go backwards without any other impact to the future.

If teams want to trade their 6th rd picks for this MiLB draft, they can do so without consequences. No issues.

LA where in the sheets is there a reference to 75 years MiLB max time that I need to turn to 85?

I dont have access to the sheets so i have no idea. I just from previous posts we are supposed to go to 85. Or maybe i dont understand your question.

Only thing I can think of changing is on the League Summary sheet when MiLB years total section when they change from no fill to Yellow to Red.

On everyone's Team Page at the top right under Salary Room it says Minor League Years Left and then the number of years you have left. I have 55 total years in minors players and this line says I have 25 years left which only adds up to 80 years, not 85 years. That's the only place I see it. Don't know if this means the minors sheets need to be adjusted to be able to go up to 85 years total on our Minor League & Waivers page.

Your correct SD. Thats how i figured out i was missing 5 yrs to get to 85.
