they have 1 year remaining, the 2010 season. if they dont become 'major leaguers' by the end of next year, they become minor fa's.

Is there a limit to number of minor leaguers one can have?

we begin the MiLB draft on Sun, Jan 10th at 6am CST.
at that time each team will have 6 hours to select a player. if you miss your time...
you can come back at your convenience and choose
pm the commish with a list of players to choose from
or request 'next best' from the top 10 lists provided.
we break at midnight-->6amCST daily.
teams with consecutive picks have only the 6 hours for all choices. SD has first 2 picks has only 6 hours, not 12, for them. Chic has picks 4-5-6 has only 6hours for all of them.

top 10 lists.
if you request 'next best' we will start with AAA--AA-A on down and whoever is shown on list as available will be selected for you.
the order is already listed.
AAA gets 2 yrs assigned
AA 3 yrs
A 5 yrs

lastly, dont bother to suggest/concerned about having only 6 hours. we've been doing it this way for 2 years and it works just fine. my seasonal employment has ended so i should have time to select for teams that cant draft at their time. pity on me.

OK, I wasn't really understanding this until I went back and looked at the 2009 MiLB draft.

Are we drafting (1) one round per day?? Then round 2 start 5ct Jan. 11. and so on.
Each team will have 6 hours from the last pick to select, correct??

The only thing I didn't understand was how bids were posted into the next day if midnight was the end of the round.
